LA NUOVA RX L SFODERA ANCOR PIÙ COMFORT E LIBERTÀ

 

Grazie alla Lexus RX «L» con tre file di sedili, le famiglie possono ora godere di uno spazio ancor più ampio a bordo del loro SUV di lusso.

La RX, che 20 anni fa ha fondato il segmento dei crossover di lusso e da oltre 10 anni propone la variante ibrida, è disponibile ora anche in versione lunga. La RX 450hL conserva il design stilistico della RX e offre spazio a 7 occupanti.


PRATICITÀ E COMFORT

D’ora in avanti i conducenti Lexus potranno scegliere la variante a 7 posti per la nuova RX L senza rinunciare all'abituale design incisivo e all'agilità nelle manovre. Grazie allo sfruttamento ottimale dello spazio a bordo e alla posizione più verticale del lunotto, la vettura è cresciuta in lunghezza di appena 110 mm rispetto alla versione RX a 5 posti. Le varie soluzioni adottate creano un buon spazio perla testa pertutti i passeggeri emaggiore flessibilità nel bagagliaio dietro la terza fila disedili.

I sedili della terza fila possono essere ribaltati singolarmente ed elettricamente. Per accedere alla terza fila basta far scorrere in avanti i sedili laterali della seconda fila.

Il volume del bagagliaio dietro la terza fila di sedili è più ampio di qualsiasi altro della concorrenza.

Lexus ha concepito la disposizione dei sedili in modo che la seconda fila risulti leggermente rialzata rispetto alla terza. In questo modo si ottiene maggiore spazio per le gambe di tutti i passeggeri posteriori. L'interno in pelle di serie è disponibile in diversi colori. Inoltre il climatizzatore a tre zone permette anche ai passeggeri della terza fila di regolare individualmente la temperatura.

Ulteriori dettagli che accrescono la versatilità della RX L sono il pianale del bagagliaio piano anche quando si ribalta la terza fila di sedili e la copertura del bagagliaio comodamente riponibile

 

DESIGN LEXUS

I sistemi di sicurezza, il comfort e le prestazioni della RX L anno 2018 sono identici a quelli della variante più corta. Abbinando la flessibilità di un SUV con il comfort di una berlina, già da diversi anni Lexus ha dato il via a una tendenza, che ora prosegue con le apprezzate linee e forme tipicamente Lexus. Il volto dellaRXL è come sempre caratterizzato dalla calandra a clessidra incorniciata da una finitura cromata. Il motivo a L dei fari a LEDcompleta l'immagine Lexus, riconoscibile inconfondibilmente anche di notte.

Gli eleganti montanti C neri creano anche sulla versione 7 posti l'effetto apparentemente sospeso del tetto. La parte posteriore della RX L riprende il linguaggio stilistico L-Finesse accennando il motivo della griglia della calandra e con i gruppi ottici posteriori anch'essi a forma di L. Tutti i colori della carrozzeria della RX sono realizzati con la tecnologia autoriparante, per cui i graffi leggeri si correggono da soli.

SICUREZZA LEXUS

Anche la versione lunga della RX è equipaggiata di serie con il sistema di sicurezza Lexus + che include sistema Pre-Crash,rilevamento pedoni, assistenza al mantenimento di corsia, fari abbaglianti automatici e Cruise control adattivo con funzione automatica in coda. L'airbag laterale a tendina copre l'intera lunghezza dei finestrini laterali e protegge i passeggeri di tutte le tre file. L’equipaggiamento di base comprende inoltre visualizzatore angolo morto e allerta traffico trasversale.

RX 350L

The 2018 Lexus RX 350L offers plenty of power to go with its seven-passenger room and added cargo capacity. The 3.5‑litre V6 employs the advanced D-4S fuel injection system, which combines direct and port fuel injection systems. To maximize efficiency, Variable Valve Timing with intelligence Wide (VVT‑iW) is used on the intake camshaft, along with VVT‑i on the exhaust camshaft, allowing the engine to switch between Otto and Atkinson combustion cycles.

The result is 216kW (294hp) and 358Nm of torque, with performance and efficiency optimized by an eight-speed automatic transmission. Use of regular-grade petrol is a boon to customer value. Using Drive Mode Select, the RX 350L driver can exert more control by choosing from among four driving modes. Normal provides an ideal everyday balance of performance and energy conservation. Sport / Sport+ mode puts an edge on powertrain responsiveness, and ECO mode operates the powertrain at its most efficient level.

As on the two-row RX 350, the RX 350L is available with Dynamic Torque Control AWD. Under normal cruising conditions, the system engages front-wheel drive to help reduce fuel consumption.

Continuously taking input from various sensors (such as wheel speed, engine RPM, steering angle, throttle opening angle and yaw rate), Dynamic Torque Control AWD actively governs torque distribution to the rear wheels using an electromagnetically controlled coupling in the rear differential. When the vehicle is accelerating, the system automatically shifts to AWD to help prevent front-wheel slippage. While cruising, the system reverts to FWD, and when sensors detect wheel slippage, it can vary front to rear torque distribution from 100:0 to 50:50. The 4.2” TFT multi-information display conveys torque-distribution status (front to rear, and side to side).

RX 450hL

Lexus Hybrid Drive abbina un motore V6 a benzina da 3.5 litri con due motori elettrici. Il sistema ibrido eroga una potenza complessiva di 313 CV.

L'innovativo sistema a trazione integrale della RX non utilizza alcun albero cardanico, ciò permette di ridurre il peso e aumentare l'efficienza. L'asse posteriore è azionato unicamente da un motore elettrico aggiuntivo. Il motore si attiva solo in caso di necessità ottimizzando ulteriormente l'efficienza

La RX 450hL è inoltre dotata di una quarta modalità di guida, la modalità EV, grazie alla quale a velocità moderata è possibile viaggiare e fare manovra puramente in elettrico e senza emissione alcuna, ad esempio nei centri urbani o nei garage sotterranei.

GUIDABILITÀ E COMFORT DI VIAGGIO

A bordo della nuova RX 450hL gli occupanti godono del tipico comfort Lexus. Il servosterzo elettrico (EPS) rende le manovre più agevoli fornendo al tempo stesso una buona risposta al conducente. La versione F SPORT è inoltre equipaggiata con sospensioni adattive variabili che permettono diselezionare una regolazione più rigida o più confortevole.

INTERNO LUSSUOSO E PREGIATO

L'abitacolo della RX sfoggia una lavorazione raffinata che utilizza materiali pregiati.

Il visore a testa alta (HUD) visualizza le informazioni più importanti in base alla situazione, cosicché il conducente non deve distogliere lo sguardo dalla strada.

MULTIMEDIA

La RX L è dotata del nuovissimo sistema multimediale Lexus. La versione di base propone già DAB+, 2 prese USB e uno schermo da 8 pollici.

Nella versione excellence la RXL è equipaggiata con ilsistema audio surround di qualità Mark Levinson. Questo sistema esclusivo include un amplificatore da 835 watt, 15 altoparlanti e sistema Advanced Clari-Fi™ che ottimizza qualitativamente la musica compressa.

Abbinando il sistema di navigazione al sistema multimediale, lo schermo è di dimensionisuperiori (12,3 pollici) e viene gestito tramite l'interfaccia Remote Touch,simile a un mouse per computer.

La RX L sarà lanciata nel primo semestre del 2018. I prezzi non sono ancora noti.
